Caroline Hayes has today formally advised her resignation as President and board member of the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry, effective from 30th November 2018.
A nomination and election process for her replacement will take place at the December Executive Committee meeting. In the meantime the Chamber’s Vice President, Rebecca Williss, will undertake the duties of President.
Outgoing President Caroline Hayes said:
“This has not been an easy decision for me, however with work commitments I will be spending a considerable time out of the region in 2019. I have immensely enjoyed my role on the board for the last three years, with almost two of those as President. I am excited about what we have achieved in shaping the Chamber’s future and sincerely wish the ACCI all the best for the future.”
The Acting CEO and Executive Committee of the Chamber would like to thank Caroline for her significant contribution to the Chamber in her time as board member and President. The Chamber has faced several challenges in recent times and although we are disappointed to see her go, Caroline leaves the Chamber in a strong position. The Executive Committee are looking forward to continuing to build upon that strength for the benefit of our members and the Albany business community.
