Business After Hours (BAH)

Attend a BAH

Business After Hours is one of the most successful events on the Albany business calendar, with an average attendance of 180 each month.

BAH functions are held from 5.30pm-7.30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. (Except December when it is held on the 2nd Wednesday).

Host a BAH

Are you and your business interested in hosting a BAH?

Here are a few answers to some questions that might help you decide!

Do I have to be a member to host a BAH?

Yes. Business After Hours is a member only networking opportunity.

How much will it cost me to host?

The answer to this question varies. You need to supply a venue to accommodate up to 200 people, so if you have your own venue or choose a co-host with their own venue, this will eliminate that expense. Catering costs vary depending who you use and your menu. As a member based organisation, we think it's important to support other member businesses and have put together a List of member caterers, wineries and venues to help you plan your BAH. ACCI covers the cost of two cases of member wines, all additional drinks costs are born by the hosts. If you co-host with another business, this reduces the cost.

What if I want to co-host but don't know anyone else who wants to?

No problem, ACCI can team you up with other interested businesses.

Can we nominate who we want to host with?

Of course! There is a spot on the EOI form to indicate who you wish to co-host with.

Do I have to make a speech?

You are expected to make a 5 minute presentation showcasing and promoting your business.

Do we provide a door prize?

Yes, you can supply any number of prizes. These can be anything - vouchers from your business, dinner vouchers, promotional products and of course bottles of wine are always popular!
