Designed for hospitality and tourism employees, this one-day workshop provides essential, practical skills that are valuable in the workplace, at home and in everyday life. Participants will complete nationally recognised training, gaining the knowledge and confidence to manage emergency situations, provide first aid and CPR, and support the wellbeing of themselves and others following an incident.
What you’ll learn:
How to respond to and manage emergency situations
Assess and assist casualties with life-threatening conditions
Perform first aid and CPR safely and effectively, including use of an AED
Identify and manage common medical conditions and injuries in line with best practice
Communicate incident details clearly to emergency services and within the workplace
Understand the psychological impacts of traumatic events
Develop strategies to manage stress following an incident
