Local Leaders: Supervisory Skills for Emerging Managers in Hospitality

The Wellbeing in Hospitality for Leaders Workshop is an evidence based training program designed specifically for hospitality owners, managers, supervisors, and team leaders navigating the unique pressures of the industry.

Developed by Healthy Mind Menu in collaboration with researchers from Edith Cowan University, the workshop explores the psychological and workplace factors impacting mental health and wellbeing in hospitality environments.

Participants will gain practical tools and strategies to help create healthier, safer, and more supportive workplaces, while building confidence in recognising psychosocial risks, supporting staff wellbeing, improving communication, and fostering psychologically safe team cultures.

The workshop also explores burnout prevention, emotional labour, resilience, retention, leadership wellbeing, and creating sustainable hospitality workplaces where both people and businesses can thrive.
