MEDIA RELEASE: CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS OF THE 2025 GREAT SOUTHERN BUSINESS AWARDS

The Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry is excited to announce the winners of the 2025 Great Southern Business Awards!

On Saturday, 1st November, the Albany Chamber of Commerce, along with partners, sponsors, businesses, employers and employees came together to celebrate finalists and hear the announcements of the 2025 Great Southern Business Awards. The evening was celebrated with a Classic Elegance Black and White theme.

Now in its 29th year, these Awards recognise and reward the commitment to excellence of our local Great Southern businesses and businesspeople. This year we saw a record number of quality nominations, of which 44 finalists were announced, 26 business category finalists and 18 individual award categories.

Albany Chamber CEO, Tracey Bridges said “The Great Southern is a great place to be if you’re looking for business opportunity, and that is evident through the diversity of this year’s applicants, finalists and winners.”

“The Great Southern Business eco-system is growing and it’s fantastic to see the viability, strength and success of businesses in our region now that there is space and opportunity for them. Congratulations to the winners and finalists, we’re really proud of our region and the operators within it.”.

Two new categories were introduced this year: the Love Local Award and the Future Focused Award. The Chamber encourages and supports any business that is focused on lowering its carbon footprint, increasing its sustainability efforts and supporting other local suppliers and businesses.

The Chamber is proud to announce that Quality Apartments Banksia Albany took home the overall Great Southern Business of the Year Award.
