The Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry is pleased to announce its new Chief Executive Officer, Kristen Pyrz-Brown.

Kristen is an experienced business owner, executive and leadership coach and trainer, starting her own Albany based business, Valeo Coaching in 2021. Kristen now uses her voice to advocate for local business. She is also a proud advocate for diversity and equality. Kristen has lived and worked in six countries, including Germany, Poland and the U.K.

Kristen has studied extensively and holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), a Masters of Business Leadership as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. The Chamber went through a rigorous recruitment process in search of the new CEO, announcing Kristen as the most successful candidate to lead the Chamber through its various advocacy campaigns and representation of the local Albany and lower Greater Southern Business Community.

Kristen said “I am extremely passionate about leadership and business. My goal in this role is to continually listen, learn and advocate in order to deliver quality information and potential solutions to those who can enact the changes required. I am excited to continue to work with the Executive Committee, staff and members. My immediate focus will be to continue addressing the needs of our members and supporting them in the challenges that they face”.
